Sunday 8:00 am Holy Communion (Book of Common Prayer)

Our early gathering is a quiet communion service using the traditional Book of Common Prayer highlighted by a condensed sermon.  This said service (there is no music) is normally 45-50 minutes in length.

Sunday 9:15 am Holy Eucharist (Book of Alternative Service)

This service has a warm, friendly, family-oriented atmosphere and yet is by no means limited to families! Singles, seniors and students abound as well.

There is a significant interest in God and what He has to say to us.  Two worship bands ‘In His Name’ and ‘Resonate’ share the contemporary music ministry on alternate Sundays.

Join us in celebrating as an Anglican community who maintain the core elements of the liturgy (Confession, Creed, Prayers of the People) while allowing the Holy Spirit to lead us in fresh ways.

Often, during Eucharist (or Communion – they refer to the same thing basically), there is an opportunity for individual prayer with members of our prayer ministry team.

The 9:15 service runs approximately 1 hr and 20 minutes. Coffee and fellowship follow the service in the Great Hall downstairs (see Children's Ministry for details of the children's program offered at 9:15).

9:15 AM Service Music Selections

Below you will find two musical selections performed live during a worship service by one of St. John's worship bands, In His Name.

"Now is the time to Worship"

 "Redeemer, Saviour, Friend"

Sunday 11:00 am Holy Communion (Book of Common Prayer)

Our 11:00 am service is a very reverent communion service using the Book of Common Prayer. Interspersed throughout you'll find beautiful organ music and a choir singing traditional hymns. This is a service for people longing to maintain or experience the time-honoured traditions of Anglican worship. With a focus on listening to what God has to say the 11:00 o'clock service offers an opportunity for people to contemplate His message in relative quiet. Coffee and fellowship take place in the church immediately after the service. Service time runs 1hr and 30-45 minutes.

10 am Wednesday Communion

Almost every Wednesday throughout the year we gather for a quiet communion service using the traditional Book of Common Prayer highlighted by a condensed sermon. This said service (there is no music) is normally 30-45 minutes in length.

Summer Services
